Why you should check product's expiry dates.

Most people from around the world purchase items especially consumable items from stores and only few people care enough to check the product's expiry date before consuming. Since moving to Lagos last year, i'm always conscious of the expiry date of whatever i am buying and i have actually bought about 6 expired product which i returned immediately. Most store owners don't like the fact that i detected that the product has expired and even though they always refund my money but i still find them displaying the same product in their stores. Recently, i bought a lucozade boost as usual in a motor park and after checking the expiry date, i discovered that the manufacture and expiry date is the same day which is for days to the date of purchase.

The woman returned my money furiously and refused to sell to me again when i opted for a bottle of Pepsi. I have seen a video of some guys making and packaging Milo in a small apartment which made me to believe that majority of people will buy from such people to make double profit which may be harmful to Nigerians.

Always make sure you check the expiry date of whatsoever you are buying so that you don't buy counterfeit items. Be vigilant!
