SMTP, IMAP and POP server settings for major ISPs

With the advent of mobile technology, email no longer only works on computers, but also on mobile phones. To receive emails on a handset, one needs to be aware of the SMTP/POP3/IMAP addresses of the mail servers, of email service providers. You need to choose one of SMTP/POP3/IMAP from the web based email settings to direct emails to your mobile. For some email providers, you may also need to provide the port number through which an SSL connection could be accessed. Any additional settings which are required may be found on the website of the internet service provider or the mobile device manufacturer.
