Big Brother Africa ( Season 8 ) Set To Kick Off In May 2013.
Producers
of one of Africa’s biggest reality TV shows: BIG BROTHER AFRICA, have
announced that the 8th edition of the program will kick off in May 2013.
As
usual entries were open to 14 countries on the continent, however a
slight change in this year's competition saw Liberia being replaced by
Ethiopia. According to the producers, the replacement was made this year
so as to rotate certain countries into and out of the format.
As
usual, this year’s show will come with a few twists and surprises but
producers aren’t letting the cat out of the bag for now. We’ve gathered
that the organizers of the reality show are after hippy guys and girls
who speak fluent English, guys and girls who are bold, adventurous and
open minded. The winner of this edition of Big Brother Africa will walk
away with $300,000 US Dollars. The participating countries are Botswana,
Angola, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South
Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Submission
of entries have since closed on Valentine’s Day (February 14, 2013) and
for all BBA fans and enthusiasts out there, the countdown to the
commencement of what should be another excciting season of Big Brother
Africa, begins.
