Fighting corruption.
The Chairman/Spiritual Father of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide (Ayo Ni O), Rev. Samuel Abidoye, has called on Nigerians to flee sin and evil to achieve economic boom and spiritual renewal.
He warned those looting public funds and causing problems that  had been threatening the peace of the country to stop in their own interest.
He, however, prayed that the Spirit of God would touch political office holders so that “they will have a change of heart and serve in truth and with diligence.”
The cleric, in his goodwill message issued on Tuesday on the occasion of this year’s Lenten period, urged Christians to seek God with more passion and seriousness.
He said, “Another Lenten season is here and Nigeria is in dire need of all that attend the fasting period. We need peace. We need repentance from crimes and evil. We need economic boom and spiritual renewal. But we are far from this ideal in our present state of existence.
“This country needs the help of all to get up and become relevant to both the citizenry and the global community. Bloodshed, thievery, kidnapping, corruption, selfishness, nepotism in governance, ethnic bigotry and segregation must end in our land. Nigeria is too important to our well being for us to risk her disintegration. We need to work together to save this country from collapse.”
